This Privacy Policy provides you with details on how Miramar EOOD collects and processes your personal data, whether you are our customer or business partner.

Miramar EOOD mainly processes personal data that you, as our customer, provide us voluntarily in the performance of contracts/orders in connection with our customs brokerage and forwarding services.We may also receive information containing your personal data from our business partners in the supply chain or from public registers. 

We collect the following personal data about you:

  • •For offers and performance of services- name, telephone, e-mail, delivery addresses;
  • •For telephone communication- name, workplace, position;
  • •For sending information about customs or other documents required for the performance our services- name, e-mail;
  • •For communication regarding orders and deliveries- name, surname, e-mail, company name of our suppliers;
  • •video recording- when visiting company buildings;

If you do not provide us with the above personal data, we will not be able to perform the service you expect from us.

 

Miramar EOOD processes your personal data for legitimate purposes only and always on the basis of legal grounds, as follows: 

  1. 1.To administer inquiries and orders/contracts for our services, or for the delivery of goods and services to our company, and the relationships arising thereof;
  2. 2.To provide current information regarding customs processing;

We process your personal data for the performance of a contract, or in order to take steps prior to entering into contract in accordance with art.6,  para 1 b) от Regulation (ЕС) 2016/679.

All such processing of personal data is subject to your consent, which may be withdrawn at any time by sending an email to: office@miramar-bg.net.

Miramar EOOD processes your personal data through electronic means of recording and storing of information or in paper form. All electronic and paper media containing personal data are protected by appropriate organizational and technical measures according to the requirements for prevention of accidental or wilful destruction, accidental loss, unauthorized access, alteration or distribution and other illegal processing.

Miramar EOOD stores your personal data in electronic form within the Republic of Bulgaria on servers in secured premises to which access is restricted and the security measures are subject to ongoing review. 

Miramar EOOD stores your personal data in electronic form on restricted access servers, in secured premises and on reliable cloud systems. If you want to find out which providers store your data, you can exercise your right to information referred to in item 7 of this Policy.

In the performance of our contracts, we provide your personal data to third parties- governmental administration offices, carriers, contractors and business partners in the supply chain.

In some cases, we are obliged to comply with our obligation to provide your personal information to the competent governmental authorities.

We keep the accounting and other related documents within the period prescribed by the law.

If no statutory retention period exists, your personal data will be stored for one year following the event for which they have been collected and then destroyed securely.

Your contact information is used solely for sending information and will be retained until you withdraw your consent to receive emails from us.

Video records are stored for a period of 30 days.

 

You have the following rights:

1. Right of access and right to obtain a copy of your personal data

You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not your personal data are being processed. Where that is the case, you have the right to access to the personal data and to 

information about how your personal data are being processed. For that purpose, you may submit an access request.

 

2. Right to correct your personal data

You have the right to request to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

 

3. Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”)

You have the right to request erasure of your personal data when the data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are collected or otherwise processed, and in the other cases set out in the Regulation, for example if you wish to withdraw your consent or the data have been processed unlawfully.

 

4. Right to restrict processing

You have the right to request restriction of your personal data processing where the accuracy of your personal data is contested for a period enabling us to verify the accuracy of the personal data, as well as in the other cases set out in the Regulation.

 

5. Right to data portability 

You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you, which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and you have the right to transmit those data to another personal data administrator where:

  • •the processing is based on consent or on a contract with us; and
  • •the processing is carried out by automated means.

In exercising your right to data portability, you have the right to have the personal data 

transmitted directly from us to another controller, where technically feasible.

 

6. Right to object

On grounds relating to your particular situation, you have the right to object at any time to processing of personal data concerning you which is based on the legitimate interests of the Company.

If you wish to exercise any of your rights or if you have any questions regarding your personal data processing, please contact us on the contact details specified in item 2 above. We will consider your inquiry/complaint and you will receive a reply within 30 days. If necessary, this period may be extended by up to two months, depending on the nature and number of requests, for which you will be timely informed, including for the reasons of delay.
